The BMW i3 and BMW i8 will be in production for Canadian allocation starting spring of 2014 with an expected launch in the summer. We know there has been rumors that there will be a sedan for the BMW i Brand possibility badged as the i5 or the i7. Lets imagine for a moment how the BMW i5 might look like in this in-house artist rendering.
We don't have much info on the BMW X4 As of yet, but lately parts of the production BMW X4 has leaked in the form of patent drawings and we have made a quick rendering below to illustrate how the production BMW X4 could look like. (Patent Images inside)
Lets imagine for a moment BMW created a hybrid supercar mated with the 560hp BMW V8 (S63B44TU) from the current BMW M6 in the BMW i8's light weight body... What would we get? Perhaps a BMW M8 Hybrid Supercar. The renderings below is strictly a design study, technical possibilities has not been considered. (Check out the other colors after the jump)
Now that we have all seen how the BMW i3 will look like in production form, we have an even better idea of how the BMW i8's headlight will look like. Here is an updated rendering of the BMW i3 Plug-in City car based on the latest spyshots. The BMW i3 will be an all electric vehicle with an optional range extender gas engine. These in-house renderings shows now the of the all new 2014 MINI Cooper could look like. The renderings based on details seen on these newest revealing spyshots of the new MINI Coopers interior and exterior. Sharing Chassis with the new front wheel drive platform BMW, the new MINI dimensions looks slightly larger and should be available as a 2 door or 4 door hatch. Headlight design was inspired by the MINI Rocketman concept and could feature a single LED halo day time running light with integrated turn signals. Based on the latest spyshots showing the new 2015 BMW i8 wearing it's production wheels and minimal camouflage on, it is very easy to see tiny details in the bodywork that we have never seen before. The i8's 1.5L three cylinder turbocharged gas engine in the rear and the 128hp electric motor is expected to generate about 354hp / 500Nm torque, 0-62 mph in approximately 4.6 seconds, top speed of 155mph, 78 MPG (european test cycle), up to 47 MPG average fuel consumption, with emissions generated to just 66g/km.
