New pictures have surfaced from Car and Driver revealing the Production BMW i8's Scale model which clearly shows the traditional Hofmeister Kink and the crease underneath the A-pillar. This confirms that our latest BMW i8 renderings (See inside) should be pretty accurate.

New BMW i8 Renders (Projected Production Colors)

Now that we have all seen how the BMW i3 will look like in production form, we have an even better idea of how the BMW i8's headlight will look like. Here are a few new renders with the new headlight design on the BMW i8 using body colors seen on the BMW i3. Let's start with Solar Orange.

BMW i8 Production Renders May 2013

Based on the latest spyshots showing the new 2015 BMW i8 wearing it's production wheels and minimal camouflage on, it is very easy to see tiny details in the bodywork that we have never seen before. The i8's 1.5L three cylinder turbocharged gas engine in the rear and the 128hp electric motor is expected to generate about 354hp / 500Nm torque, 0-62 mph in approximately 4.6 seconds, top speed of 155mph, 78 MPG (european test cycle), up to 47 MPG average fuel consumption, with emissions generated to just 66g/km. F23 BMW 2 Series Cabriolet Spyshots and Rendering

Here is what we know so far with BMW's new product lineup Series of Odd numbers like 1,3,5,7 is either a hatchback in the case of 1 Series or Sedan for the rest, and then we have the even numbers 6,4 and then there is the 2 Series which will be either a coupe or the cabriolet. The 3 and 5 Series will get a Gran Turismo, 4 and 6 series will get a Gran Coupe.
